Steps to Apply for an RP Missions Project  

Do you have what it takes to serve?

The most important thing you need to serve on a mission trip is a genuine understanding and relationship with Jesus Christ.  Some may be tempted to think to themselves that a short-term mission may be just the thing to push them over the edge and cause them to truly embrace Christ and make their spiritual life come alive.  But the mission field is not the place to experiment.  Rather the mission field is a battle ground.  Satan does not easily give up the territory he has claimed, instead, the pressures felt by mission team members can often times be extreme.  For this reason, RP Missions asks that any who would contemplate participating in a mission team, please spend much time in prayer about the opportunity and also, please spend time looking at the characteristics that should manifest themselves in those who would give themselves to the service of Christ’s Church.  The scriptures point to many qualities you as a missionary should have. Here are some that you should be encouraged to develop and RP Missions will labor with each team member to aid them in the development of the following characteristics.

Once you have prayerfully considered whether God would be leading you to serve with RP Missions, please fill out the following forms: (the linked forms are PDF forms and once completed, may need to be saved as .xml files then attached to an email and sent to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it  . In order to easily find the completed forms, please save them to your desktop. You may want to include these instructions with your email to your references so they will be able to easily complete and submit the forms.)

• Personal Evaluation
• Mission Contract
• Submit $50 application fee (can be submitted online or via snail mail to RP Missions, 3004 5th Ave., Beaver Falls, PA 15010-3671)

Then download and email the following forms to your three references (Pastor, Academic, and Friend):

• Pastor Reference Form
• Academic Reference Form (if you don't have an academic,  you can ask another church leader)
• Friend Reference Form (someone not related to you)

Once these parts have been received by RP Missions, they will be reviewed and a decision will be made as to your status on the requested mission. If you don't hear back from us within two weeks of your submission of the application, please don't hesitate to contact us to check on the status of your application. This is especially helpful since reference form submission sometimes gets delays and we can let you know who to remind or prompt to submit those parts.
